Born and raised in Queens, New York, this 90's graffiti writer transitioned into street art with the creation of TurtleCaps in 2009. A nod to his roots, the nostalgic character art maintains its street essence with an added pop twist, in hopes that people can connect with it on different levels.
After a few years of helping to establish the emerging street art movement in Montreal, he returned home, where he's maintained a balance between murals, designer toys, curation and canvas work. TurtleCaps' paintings have been featured in major galleries across the US as well as France, Tokyo, Mexico and London. From superheroes to sea turtles, pop culture mashups to graffiti art nouveau, the character is constantly evolving without being typecast in one area.
