Born in the Philippines and raised in New Jersey, El Toro's journey took an artistic turn when he found himself in the graffiti scene of Philadelphia. Now based in the vibrant city itself, he believes that art should be accessible to all which is why he showcases his work in public spaces rather than behind closed doors.

Drawing inspiration from everyday sources of joy like comics, cartoons, video games, friends, and pop culture, El Toro creates artwork that brings happiness to his life and those who encounter it. Using acrylic paints, markers, aerosol, and graphite, he explores various materials and techniques to express his creativity.

Among his notable creations is the character EL TORO, introduced in 2003, which can be found as a sticker on newspaper bins or street signs. With EL TORO, his main mission is to spread the joy of stickers worldwide by collaborating with other artists. This character has already left its mark in cities including New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Mexico, Brazil, Tokyo, Amsterdam, Australia, and France.
